These days, we tend to find ourselves drawn to technology and isolated from our community, our connection to nature, and our true identity. The steady stream of media keeps us in a state of fight or flight, and divisiveness is fed by our primal instinct to blame our feelings of fear on something or someone else.
In this workshop, we will find space to pause, listen deeply within, and remember that there is always a space for calm, especially when the world around us feels chaotic. We will learn how yoga, meditation, and pranayama can shift our nervous system. Jessica will lead a practice with gentle, flowing movement, strong standing asanas, and deep yin poses. Elements of nature will be incorporated into the practice as a reminder that we are a part of nature. The practice will end with a soothing sound bath incorporating singing bowls and the gong.
