108 for the 1 in 8: Halloween Yoga for BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Say BOO to Breast Cancer!

Join us for a special 108-minute fun and playful yoga practice as we celebrate our favorite holiday and raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. The Retreat is honored to partner with the team behind 108 for the 1 in 8 once again to support Susan G. Komen through yoga!

1 - in - 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. On Halloween morning we’ll gather at Brentwood Park in Central Austin for a meaningful and FUN yoga event to honor these women through a 108-minute outdoor practice, guided by Retreat Yoga Owners/Teachers, Amy Hogan and Tracy Liberman.

In yoga, the number 108 represents spiritual wholeness and connection.. and moving and breathing together for 108 minutes is a powerful way to stand with those impacted by breast cancer. Arrive anytime during the practice, pause when you need to, and know that modifications will be offered. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Simply moving with others in community is a gift to yourself and to the women we honor.

The event is free, but we invite you to help us reach our fundraising goal! Every dollar supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation in advancing awareness, prevention, critical research, and direct support for patients and families.

Let’s move, give, and stand together for a future without breast cancer…and have a little Halloween fun TOGETHER.
