ALL ARE WELCOME to drop by The Retreat on April 30th for socializing, live music, snacking, self-care, door prizes and DONATING!
We’re so thrilled to join with Dress for Success Austin, Mantra Wellness and the Neighbors of Northwest Hills to host a Spring Community Party! At the Spring Party, we’ll be focusing on Earth Care, Self Care and FUN! There will be a live band, live DJ, catering by Eldorado Cafe, door prizes donated by vendors in the community…and of course we’ll be DONATING items to support the community and the Earth! In addition to caring for the Earth, you’ll also get a chance to care for YOURSELF through chair massages and facial massages performed by Mantra Wellness therapists and estheticians!
If you’ve been to the Retreat lately, then you’ve surely browsed our RACK OF IMPACT, which features premium, pre-loved yoga and workout apparel. By shopping the RACK OF IMPACT you’re making a positive impact in the lives of women in our community (with proceeds benefitting the Dress for Success Austin Workforce Development Programs) …and you’re contributing to SUSTAINABILITY since each sale equals less waste in landfills!
During the entire month of April - and at the Spring Party - we’ll be accepting donations of VERY gently-used or never-worn yoga & fitness apparel from premium brands to refill the Rack of Impact: leggings, pants, tops, athletic shorts & skirts, sports bras, sweatshirts and jackets. (You know those Lulu leggings you bought a while back but never wore because they just didn’t fit right?? Consider donating them to the RACK OF IMPACT!) After the event, we'll carefully curate the Rack of Impact with items we feel YOU will want to purchase and give new life to. THEN - come back to the Retreat on Sunday, May 4th, for our Community Market and RACK OF IMPACT SIDEWALK SALE where you’ll be able to shop all the items that were donated for insanely great deals! We’re also hosting a SKINCARE PRODUCT DRIVE during the event and the entire month of April! Please bring unused skincare items and product samples which are needed by Dress For Success clients.
Here’s how to participate in donating:
Bring your clothing items and skincare products to the Retreat and to Mantra Wellness and place them in the designated bins near the front desk
Fill out a raffle ticket and place it in the bowl at the front desk. Remember: fill out a ticket for EACH ITEM you donate!
You must be present at the event to win! So be sure to come to the party on the 30th!
Y'all we are STOKED about ALL of this! We look forward to partying with you while also making a positive impact on our community and the environment! The party will last from 5 - 8pm, so stop in any time! We’ll be drawing for door prizes throughout the evening, and again - you must be present to win!
