The Gathering

Friends, we believe your voice is valuable & your experience is valid.  We'd like to invite you to join us in practicing yoga in action, in practicing anti-racism, in engaging together in community talks on social justice issues, and in taking meaningful action together.

Meetings are free and open to all. You are not obligated to stay the whole time; you are not obligated to turn your camera or microphone on.  You can participate in the way that feels authentic to you.  If you identify as a person of color, a trans* person, a queer person or a disabled person, should you choose join & to share, your voice and experience will be uplifted.

We are Gathering together next on Sunday, 5/2 at 1:30pm with Jessica to discuss “mental load” women carry.

Here’s a comic, “The gender wars of household chores: a feminist comic” by French comic, EMMA for you to read to prepare for the conversation. We’ll touch on how mental load may look different for BIPOC women, single moms, and LGBTQIA folks + how it shows up and can be addressed in yoga spaces.

If you're curious about these conversations, click here to check out our blog posts on previous Gatherings.
