Ready to go upside down, but don’t know where to start? Do you love being upside down and exploring ew, creative ways ways to get there? If you answered YES to either question, this workshop is for YOU!
Wherever you are in your inversion journey, this all-levels workshop will offer an abundance of playful, supportive, and sustainable ways to work with headstand, forearm stand and handstand.
What to expect:
We’ll begin with a 30-40 minute Vinaysa practice to warm the body and prepare the muscles and joints involved with going upside down. Then we’ll use the studio walls and other props to play around with creative, safe ways to approach our inversions! Our time together will be fun, laid-back and informal.
To prepare:
wear comfortable clothing you can move in
bring a mat, if you have one; our mat rentals are free, otherwise!
if you enjoy learning by writing, you might choose to bring a notebook
eat 2-3 hours before class so that you don't have a full stomach when you arrive
come with questions, a curious mind, and an open heart
