February's Snow Moon carries deep spiritual significance related to reflection and renewal. The name was derived by the indigenous peoples to refer to the heavy snowfall that occurs in February in many parts of the world - symbolizing a time of deep rest and quietude - as if the earth is resting under a snuggly blanket of snow! During our time under the Snow Moon, we're encouraged to slow down, to rest, to reflect on our lives...and find CLARITY amidst the silence & stillness that the snow represents. The Snow Moon serves as a reminder to slow down and LISTEN to the heart, to embrace the beauty of simplicity and the importance of introspection. It's a time to shed old habits and thoughts that no longer serve us, mirroring the way the earth will shed its snow to make way for spring!
During our Heart-Opening Sound Bath & Gathering, Lauren and Erikka will invite us to shift from the head to the heart to foster a deeper connection and vulnerability with ourselves and others. Through heart-opening movement, meditation, and sound healing, we’ll quiet the mind, release tension, and awaken the heart’s wisdom.
