Introduction to Pranayama

Take a deep breath…and discover how easy it can be to find CALM and BALANCE in your daily life.

Join us for a relaxed and supportive afternoon where you’ll learn how small shifts in your breathing can lead to big changes in how you feel! Kea’s beginner-friendly workshop introduces PRANAYAMA, the ancient practice of mindful breathing, in a simple and accessible way.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • What pranayama is and how it can improve your well-being.

  • The mechanics of breathing and its impact on your nervous system.

  • Easy-to-learn breathing techniques like diaphragmatic breathing, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), sama vritti (equal breathing), and Ujjayi (ocean breath).

  • How to use breathwork as a practical tool to reduce stress and manage your energy.

No prior yoga or breathwork experience is required —this workshop is designed for EVERYONE! The techniques are gentle, approachable, and can be practiced anytime, anywhere.

What to Bring:

  • Please wear comfortable clothing. We will practice in both seated and supine positions.

  • A yoga mat or blanket. If you do not have one, you may borrow one from the studio.

  • All other props will be provided at the studio.

Take this step toward greater ease and mindfulness—your breath is all you need!
