Movement has always been a big part of Kayla’s life. She grew up as a gymnast turned dancer, and discovered yoga in college. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Boulder, CO in 2014. She then found and practiced Forrest yoga for many years until discovering Katonah Yoga in 2019 and was completely re-inspired. Having taken many Katonah trainings and workshops, this theory and structure is heavily incorporated into her classes. She’s also been a student of movement and mobility for the past 4 years.
Kayla has spent the last handful of years healing from chronic illness and chronic pain, which is why moving her body and keeping it healthy and mobile is so important to her.
She formerly had a career in the natural products industry, and now works in holistic health, providing nutritional guidance, body work, and pelvic care with a focus on scar tissue remediation. Her life is devoted to living and feeling her best so she can live in her full expression and guide others to do the same.
